A BRONXTALE SUB
1 each – Italian Hoagie Roll
2 slices – Provolone Style Cheese
5 slices – Chipotle Chili plant-based deli slices
2 Tbsp – Basil Pesto
1 cup - Garlic Broccolini (sub recipe)
2 tsp – Extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp – Garlic, fine chopped
1 cup – Broccolini, chopped into ½ in pieces
1 tsp – Red chili flakes
½ tsp – Salt
3 Tbsp - water
Prepare the garlic broccolini
Heat olive oil a medium sauté pan with garlic for 1 minute. Add broccolini, red chili flakes and salt and sauté for 3 minutes. Add water and cover with a lid to finish cooking for two minutes.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Slice Italian hoagie in half and slather with pesto, layer on Chipotle Chili slices, garlic broccolini, and provolone. Place sandwich to melt the cheese for 3 minutes. Cut hoagie into 2 and serve.
